The CHS Guidance Office would like to provide the the following information: Scholarships: Tennessee Association of Conservation Districts wishes to award $600 scholarships to graduating seniors who plan to major in Agriculture and pursue a career in this field. The applicants must be accepted to a Tennessee public university. Please see Mrs. Tina Watson, school counselor, for application. Deadline February 16, 2024. Carroll County Soil and Water Conservation District wishes to award up to 5 - $500.00 scholarships to graduating seniors who plan on majoring in Agriculture and will pursue a career in this field. TN Promise Mandatory Meeting is required for ALL Seniors to order to receive the TN Promise scholarship. Parents do not have the attend. Seniors will learn about the TN Promise requirements and get to know their tnAchieves volunteer mentor. Date: January 18, 2024 Time: 4:30 Late students will lose their TN Promise Location: Bethel University - Bouldin Auditorium In the event of a closure, tnAchieves will notify students of any cancellations and rescheduled dates. Important information concerning the away game at Humbolt today, January 9th: Spectator Guidelines: All individuals entering the game must clear a metal detector. If the detector goes off, you will be wanded with a handheld metal detector for safety purposes and checked before entering the game. ○ No standing in the entry doors, near the playing floor or in the halls. ○ For the safety of all, children must remain seated with an adult. Playing or standing in the lobby, halls, or restrooms will not be permitted. ○ Immediately after the game, all spectators are asked to leave the building. Humboldt City Schools will adhere to the following protocols for attendees of all athletic events on HCS campuses: ● No backpacks allowed ● No hoodies allowed ● Only clear bags allowed ● No outside food or drinks ● No weapons ● No smoking/vaping HCS is a smoke free campus These protocols will be enforced at all Humboldt City Schools home games for all attendees See attached
