Shotgun Team Sign-Ups
Who: Boys & Girls in grades 4-12
When: Monday, February 23
Time: 6:00 pm
Where: Carroll County Shooting Sports Park
680 McAdoo Cemetery Lane, Huntingdon, TN
This will be an informational meeting for anyone interested in joining our Shotgun team for the 2026 season.
Registration is open to any students currently in grades 4-12
Shooters are required to complete the Tennessee Hunters Safety Course and shooters must provide their own shotgun and shells for practice and competition.

Clarksburg PK-12 School will host a blood drive on Friday, February 27th, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
All donors will receive a free long-sleeve shirt.

Attention Rocket fans: important information concerning our teams and tournament play.
District Tournament:
Girls 4/5 Play In Game at Bruceton Thursday 2/19 @7:30 , Gates Open at 6:45. Clarksburg vs Bruceton, Clarksburg will wear Red Jerseys.
$8 tournament entry fee
TSSAA and TACA Cards Admit 1
Boys Clarksburg 2 seed will play Houston Co 3 seed Saturday 2/21 @ McEwen High School at 4:30. CHS will be the Home team and wear White Jersey.
McEwen also has a clear bag policy for spectators and $8 gate with a NO REENTRY POLICY!
Win or lose the boys will play Tuesday night 2/24 time TBD.
The District Tournament and Region Tournament will be held at McEwen.

Tuesday, December 2nd, will be 8th-grade Night! Come out and support your Middle School Rockets! The theme is Red, White, and Blue. The 8th graders will be recognized during the break between the girls' and boys' games. The game time is 6:00 p.m. at the AD Jarrett.

If you or any member of your family has RSVPed to join us tomorrow for our Thanksgiving meal, upon arrival, please enter the school through the old gym lobby doors. Parking will be beside the old gym and in front of the new gym. You will sign in and pay for your meal at that time. Rocket Ambassadors will be there to guide you in the next steps.

Our Clarksburg FFA attended West TN Livestock Judging Clinic at University of TN at Martin to hone their skills and improve their chances of success at the West TN Livestock Judging Contest that will be November 11th.
Our FFA students ranked each class from 1st to 4th place and took notes on their reasons for placing. After time for their review, the official rankings and reasons were given with instruction on what to look for and how to give an oral defense of their personal judging.
Events like these are referred to as CTE’s or Career Technical Events. At these events the FFA students can use a healthy competition to improve and enhance agriculture related career skills that can make them a better student and provide them with beneficial career experience they can implement in their future professions.
