IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to rising food costs, the board has voted to change the amount of cafeteria credit that can be charged. Starting November 1, students and staff will no longer be able to charge over $15.00. Currently, our school offers the CEP program, which allows students to eat breakfast and lunch at no cost. However, if a student does not get a complete meal with at least three items for lunch, or if they purchase seconds, there will be a charge. This is a USDA rule, not one made by the board. To help us stay on budget, please talk to your child about this policy. If you’d like to check your child's meal account balance, visit My School Bucks at myschoolbucks.com, or you can call Mrs. Christy Bennett at 731-535-6099 to find out the balance or add a note to the account. Thank you for your understanding and support! 💙

Mr. Dewayne Ervin plans to add something new to our Veteran's Day Assembly this year, and he needs the community's help. We want to honor our veterans past and present at this assembly, so please provide their names and ranks and what branch of the military they served. Also, let Mr. Dewayne know if they are to be HONORED (either still serving or retired) or MEMORIALIZED (they have passed away). We will honor them in a unique way at our service at SCSSD on November 11. Thank you for your help. You may email Mr. Dewayne directly at dewayne.ervin@clarksburgschool.net or send a note through a student. We don't want to miss anyone, and he will be compiling this list all the way through the remainder of September, through October, and through very early November.
