Last week our Health Science Education class had the pleasure of touring Dynamix Physical Therapy of Huntingdon thanks to physical therapist, Misty King. The students have been learning about physical therapy: benefits, injuries treated, methods used and the education pathways to joining this incredible field! Misty demonstrated for us dry needling, cupping and the TENS unit. To see it all in action was an incredible learning opportunity! Big thank you to Misty King and Dynamix for having us!

In Anatomy & Physiology the students finished the Integumentary System with an edible model! They were kind enough to share with Ms. Flippin's class too. Good things are happening in CHS.

Ms. Emily Sibley's CJ III class recently studied their unit on The Crime Scene & the Processing Procedures including securing the perimeter, wearing the appropriate PPE, making observations, documenting their findings on the victim as well as evidence discovered, proper collection of evidence, and completing a formal crime scene report. Students were provided with a mock scenario and tools to assist them in processing the crime scene while Ms. Sibley evaluated their accuracy of their standards of procedure for crime scenes. Students did an excellent job paying attention to detail and made inferences on the possible suspects, motives, and cause of death.
