On December 2, 2011 South Carroll County Special School District was awarded a (First to The Top) Competitive Supplemental Fund Grant for Fiscal Year 2012. This grant will be renewable for two more years. The grant will be used to implement a Strategic Compensation Package for the teachers at Clarksburg School. Also included in the grant is a part-time instructional coach position to work with teachers to improve instruction and support them in the new TEAM Teacher Evaluation. A special thanks to all of the members of the Strategic Compensation Committee that worked collaboratively to write the Strategic Compensation Plan.
