Orientation

Welcome to the CHS Library. This orientation will acquaint users with available online and local resources for class assignments and personal research.

Athena

Athena is the library’s automated circulation and catalog program. It is accessible from any school computer logged onto the server. Using this program, you may search the library’s books and audiovisual materials by title, author, subject or keyword. The results page will give the call number and availability of all items listed. To read the details on any book, double-click to bring up the individual record.

Accelerated Reader

Accelerated Reader is an automated reading incentive program, which allows students to earn points by passing tests on the books they have read. Students may test from any classroom or library computer.

Student Computers

The library has seven student computers with internet access.
