The counseling program at our school is available to help students, parents, and teachers develop positive learning experiences. Elementary School Counselor Welcome to Clarksburg School. I am the school counselor for pre-school through sixth grade. We offer a comprehensive developmental program to facilitate learning and academic success for all students. Our mission is for all students to receive quality counseling services, prevention curriculum skills, and opportunities to improve academic performance, personal and social confidence, and career and life success. Our student/parent resource library has information on a wide range of topics, which include: grief, divorce, responsibility, ADD, ADHD, and depression. The program consists of a variety of services and activities, including individual and group counseling, parent and teacher consultation, classroom guidance lessons, information services, referral assistance to other programs and services in the community, and student assessment.
